Flippance

Flippance

Flippance came to us through the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, who trapped the kittens and brought them into us from Far Ings Nature Reserve, up near the Humber. All of her brothers and sisters got homes but Flippance, who was the last one to be brought in, never really liked people. She never trusted us and she now lives in the kitchen with Moppet, Millie and my Burmese male , Spunky. Flippance is in love with Spunky. She has become his shadow and, to be honest, I think she really gets on his nerves. If he goes out for five minutes, she greets him on his return as though she hasn't seen him for ages. He ignores her, but she never gets the hint.

She seems really happy with her friend Moppet. They sit under the buddleia together and try to catch the butterflies. She hopefully has no memories of sitting at the side of the road with her brothers and sisters, next to their dead mother. Many thanks to the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust who had the patience to catch them and bring them in to us.
