Miss Cartwright Memorial Fund

The Miss Cartwright Memorial Fund was set up in July 2007, following her death at the age of 18. She was one of the Trust's most popular sponsor cats and, along with Jain Kidd, was co-founder of The Lincolnshire Trust for Cats.

The Trust, as you may know, runs a retirement scheme for elderly cats whose owners, through various circumstances, can no longer offer them a home. There is a one-off fee on admission. Thereafter. the Trust covers all costs. There are cats, however, from agricultural backgrounds, who are elderly and penniless, and need to be able to have a comfortable retirement but have no one to pay their fee. The Miss Cartwright Memorial Fund is meant to help such cats.
