Moppet

Moppet

Moppet came to the Trust from Sheffield and produced five kittens shortly after her arrival. Although she tried really hard to look after them, she was not fit enough, having only just reared her last batch. Moppet was not a friendly cat; she was too frightened by all that had happened in her short life. She did, however, go to a home with her only surviving kitten "Freddie:, who was a very sociable fellow. Unfortunately, although it worked our for Freddie, Moppet didn't settle. So she came back to us and we found a little sister for Freddie.

I thought another go at a home wouldn't be fair to this timid little soul. So I gave her a bed in the kitchen and she has teamed up with Flippance who is a similar age. They go out into the garden, which is a really quiet area, and chase the butterflies round the buddleia. She won't be touched, but does come when I call her and she now seems a contented little person.
