Sponsored Resident Cats

Penny
Penny has spent most of her life in the centre of Louth living on handouts from the staff in a nearby office. Somewhere along the way she had a mishap possibly a road accident, which went untreated and she has ended up with quite a bad limp. She did manage to get herself to the vets early on in life and get herself spayed with the help of a local charity, so she has not had to worry about rearing endless kittens.
More recently some sympathetic people, who were concerned about her during the cold weather brought her a little weather proof snuggy kennel, which was really helpful and gave her somewhere to retreat to when she needed some warmth and privacy.
As she got older it became apparent that more care was needed and she was eventually handed in to the Trust. Penny is a sweet little affectionate cat, but quite timid and it was decided that it might be best if she stayed as a resident and found herself some sponsors to help pay for her keep.
She is gradually making progress socializing with the other resident cats, whilst still having the security of her kennel, which she brought with her from Louth.
