Sid had been living fairly happily in a furtive sort of way at the bottom of someone's garden in Glentham. It was a bit chilly but he was managing to make a living, mainly by thieving off people's bord tables. It wasn't a terribly satisfactory life and one of the neighbours decided to trap him and bring him into the Trust.
Being long-coated, he was a bit of a mess but, despite a good groom and a bit of a make-over, he never really tried to get to know people. He has now become a lot more confident but, because he has been with us for a long time, it was decided to let him live with the retired cats.
